Merchant Dashboard

The Merchant Dashboard is where approved Points Business merchants see their sales, deposits, monthly statements, and disputes, and manage their account. Sign in from Merchant Login. Your sign-in details arrive by email after approval.

Section names below describe what you will find. If something looks different in your dashboard, contact support.

Find a transaction

  1. Open Transactions.
  2. Filter by date, amount, status, or card details.
  3. Select a transaction to see its details, including which batch it belongs to.

To issue a refund or void, see Refunds and voids.

Statements

Your monthly processing statement appears under Statements after the month closes. It lists your sales, refunds, chargebacks, fees, and other adjustments for the month. Ask support if any line is unclear.

Users and roles

Give each person who uses the dashboard their own login. Never share a sign-in.

  1. Create a role first and choose what that role can see and do.
  2. Create the user and assign the role.

Roles control access to things like refunds, approving flagged payments, and dispute and chargeback emails. Additional users can have limited access. The main admin user for your account is set up by support.

If you manage more than one location or merchant account, ask support whether a single login can switch between them.

Branding and customer-facing details

In your merchant profile you can set details customers see:

  • Statement descriptor: the business name that appears on your customers' card statements. Use a name customers recognize. An unfamiliar name is a common cause of disputes.
  • Customer service phone number shown to customers.
  • Logo for invoices and checkout pages.
  • Redirect pages that customers land on after a successful or failed online payment.
  • Address capture for online payments, which helps with address verification.

Settings

Settings can include options to:

  • Turn customer email or text notifications on or off, such as the payment-successful email.
  • Add your own fields to transactions so you can track things like order numbers.

Bank account

Your deposit bank account is shown in your merchant profile. Depending on your setup, an admin user can request a change there, or support will help. The new account must belong to the same business. You may be asked for a voided business check or a bank letter. Your existing account keeps receiving deposits until the change is complete.

Sign-in problems

  • Forgot your password? Use the forgot-password link on the sign-in page.
  • Changing your login email goes through support.
  • "Account not active" or a similar message: contact support.
